Q	What is Broker Realty Service?
A	Broker Realty Service is a licensed real estate brokerage in Ohio serving as the principal broker for Ohio licensees.

Q	How do I know if I should join Broker Realty Service?
A	If you do not sell real estate but want to maintain an active Ohio real estate license, you can join our company and when you know of someone who wants to sell or buy property anywhere in the United States, simply notify us with their information and we'll do the rest. We refer your buyer and seller leads to full-time real estate agents who will list or sell the property and pay our company a referral fee, which will be split with you.

Q	Do I have to join a local board or organization and pay dues?
A	No - the only cost to you is an annual $75.00 administrative fee. Remember, since you are not a member of a local, state, or national Board of Realtors© or MLS, you can not refer to yourself as a Realtor©. The $75.00 administrative fee will be waived the following year if you have one closed referral transaction.

Q	What if I decide to work with buyers and sellers in a real estate transaction?
A	Since agents with Broker Realty Service do not represent buyers and sellers, it would be necessary to transfer your license to a real estate company that actively works with buyers and sellers.

Q	What is needed for a referral?
A	Submit as much information as you can about the referral lead so we can better meet their need in placing the referral.

Q	Am I required to sign anything
A	Broker Realty Services requires all licensees with the company to read and sign an Independent Contractor's Agreement.

Q	Do I have to go to an office or have floor time?
A	No, you determine when you work in referring prospects to Broker Realty Service.

Q	Can I refer prospects out of state?
A	Yes, you can refer buying and selling leads across the United States

Q	Can I list or sell property?
A	No, you can only place referrals. You may refer anyone you know. If you decide you want to list and sell real estate, we will mail your license back to the state at which point you would file a transfer application signed by a new broker.

Q	How much can I earn with Broker Realty Service?
A	How much you earning will be based upon the number of closings your referrals generate. You receive a 75% referral fee of the referred side of the commission.

Q	Are taxes deducted from my earnings?
A	No. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for paying taxes. If you have earnings, you will receive a 1099 to report them.
